As an avid walker living in Washington DC, a city that is ripe for explorations on foot, comfortable footwear generally serves as the fundamental building block of my daily outfits. While sneakers have been a consistent staple footwear across time and culture, recent trends such as Normcore and Athleisure have brought sports shoes back into the fashion consciousness.
